WINE AND CHAMPAGNE EXPERT
Judit grew up in Tokaj-Hegyalja, a hilly, wine-growing region in the north-east part of
Hungary. As a kid, she spent most weekends at their family run winery in the Oremus
vineyard. Nevertheless, she did not have a lot to do with wine for years to come, since she
decided to study law and the history of arts in university, and started working in the cultural
field after graduation. However, Judit never lost her touch with wines and winemaking, and a
few years ago she embarked on vocational training to become a certified wine-maker. After
successful graduation, she enrolled an international wine expert course (WSET) and she
already finished Level 3. Judit keeps on training about wine with enthusiasm. She started her
own blog and contributes to several other wine related webpages as a wine and champagne
expert.
She is passionate about bubbles, especially about champagnes, which she knows intimately
through personal connections and experiences. Her family owns a small champagne cellar in
France while she is constantly exploring the surrounding cellars and their offerings.
According to Judit, the French are very good at three important things in life: how to eat, how
to drink and how to converse with family and friends at the table. This is why she thinks that
on top of having quality food, it is absolutely key to pair them with the right wines. But she
will not stop there as she likes to tell fascinating and captivating stories about wine and
champagne to infuse the evening spent together with perfect harmony.
